Paula Smits

Paula Smits is a designer based in California. Paula has always had a deep love for creating images that are full of rich, hard edged and vivid chunky shapes of colour. She likes to break down photographs into hundreds of tiny shapes. Each shape is finished at random paying close attention to subtle changes in hue. She especially enjoy portraying contrasts between the stark, hard and cool colors of the geometric shapes in building structures to the bright, hot and lusty colors of the freeform shapes in nature.
