Folkopoly

Folkopoly (2011) by Danny Windsor - Monopoly, the game that has been created, and recreated many times over, each with its own unique values on Mayfair and Old Kent Road. It provides the perfect format in which to display areas of depravation and wealth for us to exploit and enjoy! The classic board game is known by everyone around the world, in many languages and cities. 'Folkopoly' is my attempt to highlight the areas of my home town, either to a tourist visiting for the first time, or to a local folkstonite. This retro, pop look at Folkestone recreates the nostalgia attached to both the game and the place. The Folkopoly print is 20in x 20in and is Giclee printed on 260GSM Satin paper
